Joel Chapter 2
-2:1-9-"sound an alarm in my holy mountain["mountain of My sanctuary"Comp.]…day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds…fire devoureth before them…the land is as the garden of Eden[Gen. 2:8, 13:10; Isa. 51:3; Ezek. 36:35]before them, and behond them a desolate wilderness[Ps. 107:34]…nothing shall escape them…appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run…noise of chariots…they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble…all faces shall gather blackness["paleness"Comp.]…they shall walk every one in his path…fall upon the sword["weapons.
